OFFICE POLICIES
APPOINTMENTS
At Lewright Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we value your time and are committed to providing every patient with prompt, personalized care. In order to serve all of our patients efficiently and respectfully, we kindly ask that you follow our appointment guidelines:

-
Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 24 hours’ notice
-
If you're running late, please give us a call. We’ll do our best to accommodate you.
To help you stay on track, we offer appointment reminders via text, email, or phone call. Let us know your preferred method, and we’ll make sure you receive a reminder before your visit.

We understand that unexpected things can come up. However, missed appointments (“no-shows”) or repeated last-minute cancellations make it difficult for us to provide care to others in need. Please provide adequate notice, so that we're able to appropriately schedule our other patients.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation and we’re always here if you have any questions.

PAYMENTS
At Lewright Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we are committed to providing you with exceptional care and a transparent financial experience. Please take a moment to review our office payment policies:

Payment at Time of Service
Payment, including any co-pays, deductibles, or estimated out-of-pocket expenses, is due at the time of service, unless prior financial arrangements have been made.

We accept most major credit cards, cash, checks, and offer flexible financing options for your convenience.

Past Due Account Balances
If an account balance becomes 90 days or more past due, and we have made reasonable efforts to contact the patient or responsible party (including sending statements or making phone calls), the balance may be referred to a collection agency for further action.

Once an account is in collections:
Our in-office team may no longer be able to assist with balance inquiries or adjustments. The balance may be transferred to a third-party collection agency.

*Important Reminder Regarding Unpaid Balances
Under current healthcare reform regulations and state/federal laws — including the Fair Truth in Lending Act — any unpaid balances cannot be written off, adjusted, or discounted at our discretion for patients who utilize dental insurance. This policy also applies to patients without insurance coverage.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain fair and lawful billing practices for all of our patients.
